On Expression

I often find that the most common obstacle many of us face is our fear of expression. Whether it be anger, grief or love, we resist allowing ourselves the freedom to truly express ourselves. Perhaps because we’re afraid we’ll be “found out” - that our true selves are simply intolerable to others. Unfortunately, much of our life goes by, couching our expression or tailoring it so it seems more palatable to others.
Today, express your true feelings. Nobody will break. And if they do, that’s their problem, isn’t it?
